In 2021, the Neighborhood Association was overjoyed to start a new Bloomingdale Neighborhood Association tradition! On March 21, 2021 the BNA hosted the second Bunny visit and parade.
The year before, residents Irene Rapoza, daughter Breanna Newby and her granddad, Gill Rapoza made lemonade out of COVID-19 lemons spreading bunny cheer throughout our community. In 2021, they joined the BNA for a community parade! Volunteers passed out BNA Easter ducks.
This year, we’ll be hosting our Bunny Visit at our March Tastes & Treasures Event! This food truck rally is hosted at the Campo Family YMCA and runs from 11 am to 3 pm. Come see the Bunny in action and capture memories with him, all while enjoying good food and great neighbors!
